Flock Hill Picture
Our spy Coracle has scanned a great picture of the Flock Hill area from the October 13th issue of The Press, Christchurch, NZ, page A.8. Flock Hill will be the November shooting location where the Narnians will battle the forces of the White Witch in the climactic battle of the film. The photo was taken by Don Scott.
The caption reads:
Canterbury high country takes a lead role in Narnia film
The magical land of Narnia has come to Canterbury’s high country as filming began on the forthcoming movie The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Actors arrived near Arthurs Pass as production of the CS Lewis classic moved to the snow-capped hills of Flock Hill Station. Although security remains tight around the set, the cast and crew have been sighted from nearby Cave Stream Reserve. The movie is being made by Kiwi director Andrew Adamson and will be released next year.
