See James McAvoy in Fox’s ‘X-Men’ Trailer
You can now see James McAvoy (Tumnus) playing a young Professor X in the trailer for 20th Century Fox’s “X-Men: First Class,” which releases June 3. Patrick Stewart (who reads “The Last Battle” on audio) played the character in the previous X-Men films. View the trailer here.
Mr. Tumnus is involved with THAT high-tech secret agent magical stuff?!?!?!?! Haha just kidding. It looks…..interesting; A bit cheesy but still, it will probably be successful 🙂 ! Thats kinda cool how Patrick Stewart read the LB on audio and played in the old X-Men films while James McAvoy played Mr. Tumnus and plays Professor X.
I couldn't tell which one was McAvoy. Which ever one was him, they made him look a lot different in Narnia!
0:20 is a really good shot of his face. He's playing Charles/Professor X (non wheelchair bound).
I guess this was before Professor X ended up in a wheelchair and went bald (I'm so glad they didn't have James McAvoy shave his head). Maybe this movie will explain how he ended up in the wheelchair in the first place.

It is a pre-quel to the other X-Men movies – therefore all new actors.
wow this is exciting…its great to hear that james is becoming more recognised….hes a great actor…alot of films with him i have seen is really well….i guess we all can't wait to see him back as Mr Tumnus in HHB and a cameo in LB…that would be great…thanxs glumPuddle…exciting isn't it 😉
He has changed so much since I last saw him! His face seems to have filled out too. I guess I got so used to his "Tumnus" costume anything would seem weird right now!
