MSN Entertainment has a new The Voyage of the Dawn Treader clip on their website of Lucy reading through the Magician’s Book of Incantations. Click the image below to go to their site and watch the video.
She smiled too big, she can pull off the awe, but not with her mouth that wide. I think it would have been cuter with a smaller smile, and perhaps a chuckle. But whatever it's like one second of the movie, we can deal.
the book is so beautiful, just like i imagined it. i absolutely love how each page is so different and unique. Georgie does a lovely job here, excellently done. personally, i like the snow, even if it is bit cheesy. i like cheesy really, its so cute 😛 and that beautiful cinementography of panning out as the snow falls is well done. that scene is just so magical and nostalgic, because i immediately started remembering and smiling over the memory of her first entering Narnia, and thats such a lovely feeling 🙂
I think they added the snow because there is something, well, magical about snow. I'm not sure they were either trying to mimic LWW or make it a holiday film. Imagine it snowing inside, without being freezing, and without ruining everything in the room. Wouldn't it be fascinating? And it looks beautiful too in the clip.
agreed mina…altough in the clip upon entering narnia, Lucy again gives that creepy, there-is-no-way-anybody-can-speak-while-smiling-like-this smile when she "Yes, its very narnian looking isnt it." 🙂
The blowing part is childlike and as for the snow, it brings back memories of the first adventure, which is probably why she reads it in the first place.
The old Edmund is comibg back, thats why he acts that way. He wants to serve himself. Greed and selfishness is hard 2 hold in w/ temptation everywhere. Not w/o God's help that is.
thats a good point, it snowing inside without it being bad, but insted wonderful is magical! i think thats why its in Narnia! I loved the clip! the scean was so heartwarming! i loved it! 🙂 Georgie did a good job acting it out!
Either way I find it rather dumb. 😛
