Wow I have the first comment. Yey!

  2. JustANarnianFanFromEngland says:

I like it a lot but I don't understand why she would blow the book unless she knew it was going to swirl about to spell the book of incantations which I don't belive is the case and the snow looks effective but it's too much like the first film.

  3. Lady_Liln says:

I love love LOVE the look of the book. And, I liked the subtle way they included the spell for wart removal. 😛

  4. JustANarnianFanFromEngland says:

P.s I did not submit these comments at 10:15 and 10:27 the clock is seven hours slow.

  5. JustANarnianFanFromEngland says:

    I second that

  6. checkers says:

I like the book, I was worried they were going to make it more modern-sounding, judging by the spell for beauty. The whole "lashes lips and complexion, transform my reflection" thing was a bit….odd to me. But I like the illustrations in the book, it's very nicely done. However, I found the snow VERY cheesy. Really wish they hadn't done that. In my opinion, it seems like they're trying a little too hard to bring back the magic of LWW. *shrugs* Only time will tell…

  7. Shastafan says:

That scene was really heartwarming. Yeah, I know a lot of people think the snow's cheesy, but I think it adds a lot to the moment! 🙂

A scene of Eustace and Reepicheep, and now a scene of Lucy have appeared. Now where's some clips of Edmund and Caspian? 😉

  8. Moonwood says:

    For sure!

  9. High Queene Shelly Belly says:

seems like they consider caspian to be box office poison and are keeping him out of sight IMHO

  10. emijoy says:

to watch or not to watch? that is the question…

maybe I should wait to see the movie first, but it is very tempting.

  11. Follower of Aslan says:

I think the snow could be a whole lot worse – what bothered me was the whole awkward CGI shot where she looks up and smiles. It seemed too still or staged, with the snow thrown in.
It seems like they are trying to recapture the awe and wonder of Lucy's first moment in Narnia. With Georgie so much older though, it doesn't quite work. They should have gone for something new, in my opinion.
Lovely illustrations in the book. I find the black page as the spell for snow something interesting and unexpected. *applauds prop and set designers*
Also lovely music in this scene, even if the ideas are a bit cheesy. They didn't copy from LWW for the music, yet it still seems magical. =) Lovely score.

  12. Aslan's Meadow says:

    NOT GOING TO WATCH IT!!!

  13. Moonwood says:

    I agree

  14. 8SilverSky says:

Hahaha! That made me laugh so hard! I liked the clip. Oh, what happened to the good old day that I told myself not to watch anything until the movie came out? Well, it's awesome regardless! Nine more days!

  15. WarriorOfNarnia says:

    I love the book!!!

  16. wolfloversk says:

I guess we're suppossed to assume the book is dusty? I've been pondering this myself…

  17. I made a pact with my sister that I'd be able to go spoiler-free until we see the film, starting today.. it just occurred to me that I should have thought this concept through a little better. (x *deep breath*.. I'll just go ahead and back away from the computer slowly now..

  18. Samara says:

a new clip is out!! its where caspian and edmund are bugged by the Dufflepuds its a very funny clip 😀

  19. Shastafan says:

    Really? I didn't expect that! Sweet! 😀

  20. Reepicheep775 says:

Haha, yeah. You can't make us!

  21. Twinimage says:

I have to say, that's pretty cool.
They implemented the snow into the scene pretty well, not as cheesy as I though it'd be.
I like seeing the different incantations on the pages, that's cool. Like that they're using rhymes for the spells, rather than making up gibberish for her to say.

that's the link to the Dufflepuds clip. there's another one there that says something about a "magic pond", which I'm guessing is Goldwater, but I've gone spoiler free, so I can't watch it to find out. (:

  23. Fire vien says:

    LOVE IT!!!!!!

  24. Starlily says:

Someone who had seen the whole scene said there was a carving of an angel or something who leaned forward and blew to show Lucy what to do. At least, that's what I heard.

  25. Adeona says:

Heh, 8SilverSky, me too! But I WILL NOT watch this one.

  26. NarnianHarper says:

Ha ha, that's the best one yet! I love it! Hey Narniaweb, post this clip in a blog of its own!

  27. Starlily says:

*Shriek!* I love it! The Dufflepuds are great and funny, and the mansion looks just how I imagined!!! Maybe this angle of it is more English-looking? Oh, and the "magic pool" one is cool too! I just wish it was longer. Looks like it's shaping up to be a really tense fight between the two guys. Anyway, I totally wasn't expecting these, and I'm just tickled pink! Oh, I am sooooo spoiled. 😛

  28. Griffle says:

Wow, there are a lot of clips from the film floating around now. I bet that between the trailers and the clips there's probably a good ten minutes of footage online.

I noticed that there are now people advertising for "watch the complete film" ect on YouTube. I guess they're streaming it as that's still legal. Feels all wrong to me though, and I'd never watch a film on such a page.

I'll say this though, if they want to get rid of piracy, they should start by keeping an eye on their own employees. How do they think films end up on Pirate Bay in the first place?

  29. Starlily says:

I wish there had been some CGI stuff with the other spells, making them come alive like in the book, but I still like this. It reminds me a lot of the original story, and I like the medieval look of it. I don't even mind the snow much. It's kind of neat, actually. This could be a really cool scene.

  30. Lucy Helen Ycul says:

This clip is perfect for today! I like the other ones as well, but in the Gold Water clip Edmund isn't supoosed to act possessed, Caspian is according to the book.

  31. Susan the Gentle says:

I am so tempted to watch it but i will wait the eight more days it will be worth it!

  32. Queen Elizabeth says:

I will not watch this!!!!!! I've seen to much already and it is ruining the movie experience!

  33. Queen Elizabeth says:

I did see the one with Edmund and the pool. Does anyone else think that they made Ed look to sinister this is how I interpereted it. (It was a little cheesy)

Edmund: OMG! Gold. (All happy and in awe)
    Lucy: What?
Edmund: Now I can be all powerful. Grrrrr
(It's like Aniken to Darth Vader)

  34. Lucy says:

LOL! Your comment was hyesterical. I started laughing as I read it because that dialogue would be majorly funny in like a VDT spoof or something. But I think I disagree with your interpation of the scene, it was only a short clip for one, so who knows what they cut out that could lead up to that, and for another I think I found it more "Intense" than "Sinister". I mean, they really made it seem like the burden of living with a cousin he doesn't get along with, and the chance to get himself-and his sister-out of that situation, is what's motivating his obession with the gold. I could be wrong, but that's how I took it. What's more is that as a person who has had the problem of being in a place with diffcult realtives in the past, I found it oddly relatable. i think other kids who have been through similar things might, too, and that that might be what the movie writers were aiming for. I dunno. I could be wrong. Just a thought.

  35. Mina says:

I saw the toothache, where was the wart one?

  36. Mina says:

Er, kind of irrelevant, but pertaining to OLD clips:
Okay, so I thought of something about the Susan/Peter/Lucy/Edmund all wearing Narnia clothes scene…what if that's Caspian's Dark Island "worst nightmare?" Could that be it, that his nightmare is that the Pevensie's will overthrow him, and come back to rule? That one trailer you could see something that looked like thrones (okay, chairs) in the back ground, and the fact that he sees them in traditional Narnian dress. Both Ed and Lucy are on ship with him, hence why he sees those clothes on them. He's never seen them in English dress so he couldn't imagine that. Of course you could turn this around and say that it's his "darkest desire" to quote, but still.
Okay, so I was just trying to be cool, and come up with another solution to that problem, but hey, just throwing ideas out. Thanks for reading!
    "Oh THAT mansion!" lmao.

  37. Queen Elizabeth says:

I understand what you mean with your reply 🙂 I don't know, Ed is my favorite character and it just upset me a little and it seeming unlike him to be all tyrant-ish. But yea, I bet it will look good in the whole film. 🙂

  38. Queen Elizabeth says:

I think you're on to something Mina! Good call, there are wearing the same clothes, except Lucy's hair is different. Oh well, only 8 more days!!! 😀

  39. Queen Elizabeth says:

I think they shouldn't be realeasing so many clips though, like this and the Eustace one. I don't know I just feel a little guilty if I were to watch them all. I only watched the Ed and pool one cause it looked promising.

  40. Samuel the Magnificent says:

I don't think they were trying to make it like LWW. I think they were just trying to have an excuse to make it a "holiday" movie.

  41. emijoy says:

it actually isnt very much at all. it's just 30 seconds, very edited and mostly stuff we've seen before.

  42. emijoy says:

    where is that clip?

  43. Mina says:

True it is different…I thought it was maybe to make them look all "nice" as for kings and queens, but Ed looks like he's got a cut on his lip. I don't know. I was just trying to figure out why they'd be wearing Narnian clothes and walk all dramatic toward the camera…surprisingly I thought of it in the middle of the night. =P Yay, only eight more days!

  44. I love it, favorite so far!

  45. Pepper Darcy says:

'you mean squash us with your fat bellies?' That was classic (by the way, I'm not saying that to anyone, I'm quoting the clip! 🙂

  46. Pepper Darcy says:

wow. That was… *magical* I'm going to be smiling like crazy in that scene! 😀

  47. Melanie says:

I love the incantations scene! So beautiful and magical!
    The magician's castle is amazing!
Wow, Edmund seemed kind of sinister in that one clip. I guess it won't be so shocking when I'm watching it and seeing all the events leading up to it.

  48. Louloudi the Centaur says:

I am amazed at how the book Lucy read from is so detailed. I noticed the spell about warts and the moonlight.:)

  49. Hwin says:

*SIGH* These clips and spoilers just do not stop coming!!! Oh well, I also will NOT click it 🙂 Hahaha!!!

  50. Queen Elizabeth says:

Maybe they just threw it in the trailer cause Anna and Will were on set for their earlier scene. They do cut out a lot of scenes.

  51. Queen Elizabeth says:

Up towards the beginning of the comments NarnianHarper posted a link. It's kind of in the middle-ish

  52. Queen Elizabeth says:

Thank You!! lol Someone finally used the word 'sinister' to describe that scene. I've been the only one to think that way. but he does look a little grrrrr. Don't you think?

  53. always narnian says:

I'm not gonna watch it! It's only 10 days and I already know way too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  54. hsawaknoW says:

I also agree. Overall I like the setting, illastrations ect… but the Lucy smile does not work like it did in LWW.

  55. emma12 says:

very true! for a moment i thought i wuz watching a scary movie lol but awwww why did they have to put ed like that! i hated it! i cry everytime i see these narnia clips cuz i guess im just obssesed with them! 🙂
