Narnia: The Billboard!
Some new billboards promoting The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader have popped up. Currently, we have only heard of them in the Louisville, KY area. The billboard features the same snowy Aslan that we have seen recently.

I really do not se why people (the people who make the new narnia movies) have to totally ruin them. I think it is silly that Aslan is in a snowstorm in the billboard! When does it mention in the book that he was in a snow storm? Prince Caspian, uhm, exscuse me, Princess Caspian is a hippy. What is the point in that? Maybe so that he can look like he was in the '70's or something.
dramaticalmama: Oh yeah, heaven forbid any other movie try and promote itself. *rolls eyes* The HP film comes almost a month before VOTDT, they're not competing against each other. Personally I'll see them both and hope they both do well – I like both Harry Potter and Narnia (shocking, isn't it?). God, I hate this kind of narrow-mindedness…
ATTENTION NARNIA FANS! THAT IS NOT SNOW! THEY ARE STARS! THEY ARE JUST BURSTS OF LIGHT! Also, the advertising company wanted it to look like snow a little bit because people who aren't into Narnia as much as us would only recognize Narnia by snow. Because the first movie was so popular. THANK YOU.
I have seen one in Minnesota near the Twin Cities—if you're the kind of person who seeks out such things, look on the left side of the road while traveling west on I-94 between Maple Grove and Rogers (I believe it's about a mile or two after the Maple Grove Parkway exit).

one of the KCMO Aslan billboards is at 5th and cherry, at the entrance to the columbus park neighborhood. it is beautiful. 🙂
We were driving home last night at 10:30 and my sister screamed in the car. We all thought she had just seen and accident, but then we all saw it! O wonder of wonders we have Narnia billboards in Portland, Oregon! It is the nicest thing I've ever seen on a bill board around here. We've spotted three so far…
Yesterday my sister and I saw one along I-70 just north of 23rd Street. It was great!!! It was late at night though, and there weren't any lights on it. 🙁 It was still fab though!!!

Saw this billboard on I-5 just outside Salem Oregon this morning.
Several of these billboards are north of Orlando on Hwy 75.
Several around Dallas/Ft worth TX.
I saw it the other day my the MN state zoo. It was amazing!!!!!! I started pointing and screaming. Unfortunatly sisters didn't share my enthuseasum (I think they are still recvering from ear problems!). It was really cool to see it.
This same billboard can be seen when heading east into Jacksonville FL on I-10. Instead of "Narnia" it says "He Returns"
In the Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids area in Michigan, we have seriously 6 billboards that I have seen. It's really a strong marketing push, since we have never had any film billboards in the area, and honestly I've never seen them exist out of major cities.
There is one of these Narnia bill boards in Houston, TX. I pass it going to work everyday. I just love it.
