Asbury University Team Produces Interview With Micheal Flaherty
A team of two Asbury University professors and an Asbury University student produced a video interview of Micheal Flaherty, president of Walden Media. Asbury English professor, Dr. Devin Brown, who has authored three books about C. S. Lewis and Narnia, designed the questions and interviewed Flaherty. Asbury media communication professor, Greg Bandy, was the producer and director. Austin Berry, a senior media communication major, was in charge of filming and editing. The footage was shown at the Asbury Reunion in June, and will be used at several of Dr. Brown’s upcoming scholarly talks, and at Asbury’s Narnia Night planned for December. Following that, it will be posted on Asbury’s website. Dr. Brown’s third book on C.S. Lewis, “Inside the Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” will be released on Oct. 1, 2010. The third Narnia film will open on Dec. 10, 2010. Asbury’s Narnia Night III is planned for Dec. 3, 2010 in Hughes Auditorium. For more details, please see the story at asbury.edu.
That's a book I'll probably be buying!
That'll be on my bookshelf someday!… if it's good. Otherwise I probably won't get it.
Cool… but I got excited thinking there was actually an interview to watch. 😛 It doesn't come out till December? Might as well just wait for the movie itself!
Sounds good! I wonder what the book's about… honestly I don't think I'll buy it because it sounds like a book about the themes, messages, etc., that C.S. Lewis put in VotDT. While that may be interesting to some people, it just doesn't capture my attention.
i'll be getting that book 🙂
Haha they are having their Narnia 3 party on my birthday 🙂
Dude whoa and I just realized that that is also when I am having my Narnia party haha
🙂 oh me gusta esa idea que me gusto que bueno que ya viene mi pelicula favorita si y si adios.
I don't trust Flahety. He likes the picture of Aslan and the Which talking over Edmund. I don't like that picture because Aslan is standing on two legs and it's like he is doing a favor for the Which. No offense to Flahety. But when it's to books , I am always happy to check them out.
Never mind. At first I thought Flaherty is writing the book. Sorry
must buy those books!!!
Awesome!
