First Viewing of ‘Dawn Treader’ in LA Next Week
According to the official Facebook fan-page for Tony Nixon (Rynelf), The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will have it’s first official cut viewed in LA next week!
No more details other than that though. Whether this will be shown to a random group of Californians who happen to be at the right place at the right time, or if this is only going to be shown to the higher-ups in the production, we don’t know.
One thing’s for sure, this will be a VERY rough cut of the movie. A lot of visual effects will certainly still need to be completed. But the good news is they’re moving right along with a full six months of tweaking still to go!

Wonderful! VotDT is moving right along! I wonder if I can beg my parents to go to LA…. if they're even showing the clip to the public. If they aren't, then I won't beg. If they are, I'll cry if I can't go! Actually, I probably won't, cry that is, but I'll be extremely upset.

I heard the new Narnia trailer is going to be shown before Karate Kid, which comes out June 11th.

I find this hard to believe, as you had already claimed earlier to have seen the trailer before watching shrek, and that was clearly a lie.
Ya, or it could come out with the A Team movie. That would be sweet because the world cup begins on the 11th.

this HAS to mean a trailer is coming soon. you know when i went to go see Prince of Persia there was a trailer for a movie coming out on 12.17.10, and i was like, "what? how is it that that movie has a trailer and narnia doesnt, and its coming out later than narnia?" so yeah im really super anxious for this trailer.

I'm hoping for a trailer release NEXT week (I'm thinking Toy Story 3). I don't even dare hope it comes out this week.

That's what I'm hoping too. I was expecting it to be released for Shrek Forever After, but at that point someone on NarniaFans had apparently posted that they had 35 minutes of the film converted to 3D I think, and that it would probably be 3-4 weeks until the trailer. June 18 is about a month since that notice came out, so I hope the trailer is released with that. 🙂

I think Georgie is trying to grow up too fast; remember, she's only 14, and she's trying to look like an 18-year-old. True, she's beautiful, but I think she should slow her pace (not literally).
