  1. Haggith Tarkheena, "Lurtz" is the name of an ugly Uruk-Hai Orc chief in the film version of "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring." You might want to change your created-world's name! 🙂

  2. PrincessRosario says:

Mine would be a toss-up between Middle Earth, Narnia, and Azeroth (from World of Warcraft…yes I'm a nerd :P)

  3. PrincessRosario says:

They can't just "make" something first place. It's a poll. 😛

  4. QueenLucy12 says:

me too mine is called "Paradawn" (PAIR-A-DAWN) Made it last year! it is awesome! and im princess Maria (not my real name) and me too is trying to make a book out of it!

  5. QueenLucy12 says:

  7. The Batman says:

Yeah, Odyssey for me, too! And Narnia, and a few Star Wars places 🙂

  8. Milady of Narnia says:

It's Narnia all the way for me!! 🙂

  9. Rilianluvr4evr says:

    King Rilian live forever

  10. DLF says:

I take offence anyway. I LOVE Harry Potter. My top 3 places would be Hogwarts, Narnia, then mabye Wonderland.

  11. Ambervina says:

    Long live King Tirian!!

(I've always wanted to go to Rohan though.)

  12. Fire vein says:

I would put it Narnia Middle earth then Harry Potter at the very, very, very bottom. (If you haven't noticed I hate Harry Potter's gutts!)

  13. Fire vein says:

    I completly agree with you!

  14. Neverland Child says:

  20. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

    Dr Elwin Ransom,
First, it's good to know that there is yet another Christian on this site! It's a very encouraging thought.
Now, true, it is what comes OUT of a man that defiles him. But the question is WHY does what comes out of him happen at all? I once heard of two boys (twelvish, I think) who had this "thing" for violent video games. They played them so much that one day, they went to a playground and ended up killing a little girl, thinking that real life was like the video game: namely, she'd just be able to get up again, which, of course, didn't happen. I'm not trying to contradict my Saviour or anything, but what you put IN could very well come OUT.
I hope you read this as a respectfully-written comment and not as an argument.

  21. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Sweet! I've already written a book involving another world! (It's just not published yet.)
I don't recall any "Lurtz" in LotR, but I'm assuming you like LotR far more than me (for me, it's just a mild interest) so I'll take your word for it, Dr Elwin Ransom!

  22. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I'm not sure I'd go to Odyssey… but did you know that some kids in Odyssey had adventures in another world called Marus? Check out Paul McCusker's "Passages" series! They are AMAZING! Not as close to Narnia as one may think, but I think they are so COOL! (even though the backs of the books say "ages 10-14" and I'm not in that category!)
I'd totally go for Narnia and Marus!

  23. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I'm going to the real Narnia someday. And it's not to see King Ed (though I admit he's pretty cool). I'm going to praise Christ (who is depicted by Aslan) for the rest of eternity. And THAT is something to look forward to!

  24. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Ooh! Horses! (Yesterday, I was reading about Shadowfax. And I've decided that I want him!) ;D

  25. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Funny how Middle-Earth is #6. I thought LotR was more popular than Narnia…. (Not that I care, because I believe Narnia is oodles better than Middle-Earth (which is how it turned out in the poll anyway)!)

  26. Karnia says:

lol Earth would be pretty interesting to go to, if only….. 😛

  27. pselpevensie says:

    that's so cool!
(but, in my opinion, Narnia sooo should've been first)

  28. Ranger says:

Pfft, Pandora? Booooring compared to Narnia or Middle-Earth!

  29. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

    Ditto!

  30. silverPhoenix says:

Camelot and Middle Earth sound nice…but Narnia rules.

  31. alice jadis says:

Now, I'm not familiar with all the magical worlds out there.. but I would much rather go to Wonderland than Narnia.. I put Wonderland over top of all of them, it's got so much more magic and fantasy in it, plus I've loved Wonderland my whole life – it's very special to me, which is not something I'd say about Narnia.. I'm not saying I dislike Narnia, but I'd rather be in Wonderland.. and no, I don't find the Harry Potter series to be a sin, I beleive much differently..

  32. martinthewarrior says:

my chices would be pandora, then narnia

  33. My three would be NARNIA then NARNIA and NARNIA haha

  34. Omac the centaur says:

to true my friend. 🙂 about going to heaven. I liked C. S. lewis' idea about all the worlds combined and all. probably my favorite thing he put in the books!

  35. Omac the centaur says:

Woe wait.. U would have Narnia AFTER Narnia??!!! I cant believe that! I would SO have Narnia, THEN Narnia. then after that u r so right: NARNIA. 🙂

  36. Omac the centaur says:

they have the weirdest two-legged things there. i think they call themselves humans.. i think.

  37. Puddleglum says:

Ah, Heaven. To finally go to the Greatest of all countries.

  38. Puddleglum says:

Strangly, I understand that among humans when behaives badly they say the person is acting like an "animal".

  39. Puddleglum says:

I just cannot understand why someone would rather go to this Pandora place rather than Narnia.
From what I have been told there are these floating pieces of land all about. I would be in constant worry of one of them landing on me. Or even being on one, (my head spinns at the thought).
No. Better to keep my webbed feet in a good "solid" Narnian peat swamp.
As for this Hogwart, or whatever they call the place. Such big buildings are usually too cramped inside. Give me a wide open fenn any day, with a good view of the stars at night.
Star Wars? Why would they be fighting in the first place?

  40. Queen Emily of Narnia!! says:

My choice would definetely be Narnia, Middle Earth and Hogwarts. I don't understand how somebody could compare Pandora to these places which will go down in history because they are so magical. Nobody can beat them, just because some film came out that has attracted loads of attention because it's modern and cliche, doesn't mean that other films with magical places like: Underworld, Middle Earth, Narnia and even Harry Potter world… It's ridiculous and totally absurd… but then again everyone has their own taste…!

  41. Queen Emily of Narnia!! says:

    Couldn't say it better myself!!!

  42. Omac the centaur says:

Indeed. i'v had to explain this to some of the bad tempered mammals near my home.

  43. Omac the centaur says:

I see ur point. flying landmasses dont seem very stable for hooves. i'd probably just slide off. O.O and then i had the same question about the stars.

  44. LOTRFREAK says:

as much as like narnia i would go to middle earth and Alagaesia before going to narnia

  45. -centaur- says:

'course it isn't safe. But it's good. 🙂

  46. narnian resident says:

harry potter? ewww! i would choose Narnia as #1, Middle-Earth as #2, and #3 would be my world of Gillidiad in my books 😀

  47. narnian resident says:

    amen fellow believer 🙂

  48. Puddleglum says:

Now this "middle earth" place sounds interesting.
But I must admit they spend much to much time underground. I have seen enough of that already.

  49. Omac the centaur says:

id say. By the way, hows ur foot?

  50. Omac the centaur says:

    whats ur book?

  51. Puddleglum says:

    Very much better. Thank you.
My hand is quite well from the scorching too.

  52. jill says:

Dr. Ransom, i would have to agree with everything u said, but if u dont mind my asking, r u a lawyer? u seem 2 hav all the facts and refrences 2 support evrything ur saying.
Ariel, this verse is refering to what comes inside a man's stomach, not mind!

  53. Omac the centaur says:

    good to hear.

  54. Aslan's Girl says:

Huzzah for Narnia!! My top 3:
    -Narnia

    -Middle Earth

    -Elyon
    🙂

  55. Aslan's Girl says:

And I don't understand why ANYONE would go to Pandora. Using a quote from the movie-"everything out there wants to kill you and eat your eyes for ju-ju beans".-Army Chief Guy

Or something along those lines ^^

I mean, I know that Narnia and Middle Earth are dangerous, but at least they're a little hospitable! =]

Yeesh. Avatar hype. Makes me sick >.<

  56. Aravis Narnia says:

Definitely Narnia. Pandora is more sci-fi than true fantasy. And Hogwarts is low fantasy, since it is located in the UK after all. But Narnia is truly the quintessential high fantasy world- complete with medieval elements and all.

  57. Omac the centaur says:

I havnt seen it. but from ur comment i find myself REALY wanting 2. 😛 sounds like a place that a centaur like me would like.

  58. narnianerd says:

Narnia, Middle Earth, Star Wars Galaxy, Star Trek Alagaesia, Amara, Shannara, Camelot, Neverland, Wonderland

There you go, My top ten… *wonders why Star Trek wasn't on the top list…

  59. narnianerd says:

Oh wait, Its not tecnicly a different world, I don't care. It still is on my list.

  60. Puddleglum says:

    Just remember,
    Floating chunks of land overhead.
