Collider.com has posted a HUGE picture of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader banner at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. (Click here for the full sized image.)

The banner features Caspian, Reepicheep, and Aslan on the left side, and Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace on the right. Unfortunately Eustace is pretty hard to make out, but the rest of the banner makes up for it. Hopefully we’ll get some more pictures of it later today that will have a better angle.

UPDATE: Overnight, we received spy reports from Johnny T, CaspianX, and AJAiken with a link to additional pictures of the banner. EmpireOnline.com has posted pictures of the side panels and the ship has indeed made it on to the banner! You can view the story here.

Yeah, I see what you mean. They had better start marketing the actual ship a little bit more as well as perhaps adding a bit of green to their next poster or all the people who don't know the story will get the impression: "Lots and lots and lots of sky – with stars. One knew character! Huh?! What?!
WOW! I can't wait to see it at other angles. Edmund, Lucy, and Aslan send excited shivers down my spine. Maybe the trailer will be released to the public soon…

it looks amazing! lucy looks so different! when i saw it i was like, "who is that girl there?" then i realized its lucy!
boy i just love the pictures, although im surprised they didnt get a picture of the Dawn treader, or at least a piece of it. but i suppose they couldnt because it would have been too much on the banner. all in all it looks absolutely amazing. i am shivering with thrills and excitement right now!

I didn't even notice the stars…but now that you mention it, it does make sense! How exciting! I'm beginning to have a hopeful feeling that a trailer will come soon…
A couple of things…
1) I'm 99% sure that what Edmund is holding is Rhindon, or if it isn't, it looks exactly like it.
2) He's holding it wrong. I suppose that we can assume that he fell and hit his head and can't remember how to hold a sword right. (totally kidding…)
3) OldNarnian, I don't think Caspian is giving Ed the sword in that pic. It LOOKS like he's saying, "HI, ED!! IT'S SO NICE TO SEE YOU!" But it also looks like Ed is in Narnia clothes, so that would mean he has been on the ship for a little while, so Caspian has probably already said, "NICE TO SEE YOU!!!" or whatever.
4) Maybe when Ed and Caspian had that sword fight that we saw footage of, they were fighting over Rhindon…no, no, I'm just kidding. Or MAYBE, Ed dropped his sword into the ocean and Caspian lent him Rhindon…Nah. đ
Oh, wait a second!!! I was just looking at some spy photos…and guess what is hanging from Edmund's waist?!?!?! I'm almost certain that it's Rhindon.

Oh. Wow. That looks amazing. I'm not one to freak out about posters and such, but this one looks good. Lucy looks gorgeous (sob) and Edmund, Eustace and Reep look great. Caspian…looks like he's sneezing, but I'll overlook that.

Georgie H. mentioned in the Prince Caspian DVD commentary that she had to get a certain kind of plastic surgery for her face. She probably got another one.

Yeah, I think they photoshopped Lucy a little. I think she looks okay, but I wish they hadn't done it. Georgie looks nice enough without photoshopping.

They always fool around with the actors appearance on the promos. Remember Lucy peeking out from behind the door when she first discovered the wardrobe, it was one of the first promos they released for LWW, they put major makeup on her in that one. And I while I think Edmund will wield Rhindon well, I liked his old sword better in his hands, Peters sword is Peters sword and none others.
It's "Edmund" by the way; "Edmond" is that dude from count of montie cristo.

Wow! It looks great! Scary to see how much Skandar, Ben, and Georgie have grown up. They all look wonderful though. đ And I also like Aslan. There's something a little more appealing to him than the LWW and the PC Aslan. I can't put my finger on it though. đ

You know, I just had a thought. Maybe they gave Lucy such a "made-up" look to distinguish her from the two boys. I'm not saying that she looks like a boy (I personally think Georgie is very pretty), but maybe they wanted to make her very clearly feminine, so they gave her more make-up or photoshopped her. I'm sure it's just for the poster–you know how different things actually look in the movie. The posters usually look half CGI-ed and really fantastical because they're trying to attract people. Just look at the ones from the other movies.
Anyway, that's just my two-cents worth.

I know the movie has really grown since LLW.Lucy looks really grown up and Edmund just looks hot, no change there then đ oh and Caspian now looks like Orlando Bloom so everything is good đ
