A Future Stop for the Narnia Exhibition — Louisville, KY
The Louisville Science Center announced today that the exhibition for The Chronicles of Narnia will be arriving June 2011. It might be a ways off still, but this is the first showing of the exhibition most certainly guaranteed to include props, costumes, and set pieces from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
A few weeks ago, we reported the next known location for ‘Narnia: The Exhibition’ is Huntsville, AL, where it will arrive sometime in the Fall of 2010. Whether it will head anywhere between the time it wraps up in Houston (on April 25th) and Huntsville remains to be seen. It is possible that they may be taking a break from touring to add the new Dawn Treader pieces.
More information on the Louisville Science Center can be found here. The U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville here. And the official Narnia: The Exhibition site is here.
I hope it comes near me someday! I'm a whole U.S.A. away from Kentucky and Alabama. 🙁
Git 'er done.
people that live in Kentucky go see it! (cuz i live in alabama and me and my family will go c it
and i KNOW it will be awesome!)
sorry we will go and see it in Huntsville, Alabama!
(SO EXCITED!)
I wish it would come my way! But my birthday is in June, so maybe I'll request a vacation to Kentucky 😀
I WANT IT TO COME TO WASHINGTON!
Please come to MN!!! 🙁 Or somewhere near MN!!
cool. maybe i can go 2 1 of them someday. (by the way, does any1 no what the song is at the last half of the prince caspian trailer?)
I'm in FL so MAYBE I can go see it! It will be hard to convince my husband (who couldn't care two bits about Narnia lol) to spend money for a trip just for that!
OMgoodness I just checked out the website, now I REALLY want to go and take my little boy!
Okay, so Kentucky is awesome, so you all should definitely come! Who knows, maybe I can go…its still a long ways off, so we'll have to see.
Oh I want to go see it! It's not too dreadfully far from here, so maybe…
YES! FINALLY it's coming to KY! Still over a year off, but I'm definitely planning on attending. 😀
That's cool news, but it would be a lot cooler if the exhibition was coming to MY state. 😉
Movement Seconded! Minnesota it is!
its an awesome website. 😀
same here. lol
yea 4 archers!(your name) gotta hav'em. 🙂
Man!! I wished I lived in Kentucky.
PLEASE make it come 2 chicago illinois!
Haha, I was just at the Science Center a couple of weeks ago. Not a terribly long drive, though June '11 seems so far away. Now, if only they would allow pictures.
Solution to everyone: Wouldn't it be nice if the exhibit comes to every major city in the U.S.? But Great Britain, too. It wouldn't be cool to let the U.S. hog the exhibit. 🙂 I'm thinking that Alaska is fairly out of the way. :$ Kentucky isn't. London or LA! Please one of those two!
Please the ones that can go, GO it’s an opportunity that a very few have so go and told to the ones that can't go who cool it was .
I would really want to go but I'm so far
So go!
Hmm, I wonder if I should go considering it's only 15 min away from me? haha jk I am most definitely going! It's going to be a long wait though.
haha yeah u might… 😀
I third that!
Hmm… my b-day is coming up in July… that's a good idea! (Although I'm not sure my parents will want to drive from New York to Kentucky or Alabama in any case. 🙂 )
Problem is, that means they would probably go to New York CITY… while I live out in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the state. :p But that would be cool.
MN, IA, anywhere near all us mid-westerners!
I have a great uncle who lives in Kentucky but I probably won't get to go.:(
even though i live NOWHERE NEAR that, i'll 4th that 4 u guys. 🙂
Oh my goodness. I have lots of family in Indiana, and next year is the year we might be going to visit them!! I may be able to go! This is so exciting! I know how all of you feel though, who are never near these 🙁 I kinda live in the boonies so things like this are never near us.
I hate that these things never come to Belgium! Would love to see it, but I don't think it will happen for me.
anyway, is it me, or is there not much news coming?
Do you think Minneapolis/Saint Paul is considered major? that's only a couple hours drive from my place. If I could convince my parents….
Yes, I was quite annoyed that it took so long to get this post out after the last one.
YYEEESSSSS. Or maybe to Wisconsin Dells. We never get anything around here. Keep the story of Aslan alive!!
That sounds like fun and it is near me! But we won't see it I am sure. :p
Yeah! Then it could hop over to Idaho!
The only thing is that I'm not sure if Idaho HAS any major cities! LOL! 😀
Yeah I think that might not go over so well with my parents either 😀
What website????
Don't you live in Hobbitton?? lol 😀
Oh, yay! I live only about 2 hours from Louisville!
My Birthday is in June too! But…. I think my parents would think I was crazy if I asked to go to Alabama or Kentucky to see a Narnia exibit (We live in PA) :).
I don't know…. I don't think it's on the PC soundtrack. I'd like to know what song it is too!
LOL! Hehe, I forgot, it is WAY to far away. 🙂
Haha try living in Lincolnshire, there are definately no major cities! 😉
the name of the song is "The time has come" by Epic Score
I looked on youtube for this answer for you guys! 😀
WHEN WILL IT COME TO BOSTON??!!!!!
Thanks!!! 😀
I'm In Texas right now with my grandparents and i WAS going to go to the exhibit in Texas, but that was before i found out it was 4 hours away and my dad just doesn't think its worth it lol. I would drive that long just to see it =D.
i'll drive to KY to see it once i get my drivers licence in a few weeks =D.
Cheers, and God bless
NbH Ian

I wish the exhibit would come to Atlanta; that's only 100 miles away.
