Other Reactions to Dawn Treader Footage
In the past couple weeks since Tirian reported on The Voyage of the Dawn Treader footage he saw out in LA, there have been a few other reactions appearing on various blogs and websites from people who saw the same footage.
- Paul McCusker from Focus on the Family’s review can be seen here.
- Dr. Devin Brown, author of Inside Narnia and Inside Prince Caspian, and Prof. Greg Bandy have their review posted here.
- And finally, Ken Bowles of Midwest Christian Media has given NarniaFans his review of what he saw and that can be read here.
Thanks to everyone who sent in a spy report on one of these blogs!
A brief comment also has come up on Twitter from Lisa Anderson, Focus on the Family’s Corporate Publicity Director. She says: "Just saw a rough cut preview of Narnia's "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," set for release in December. It's gonna be good." I say, this is rather encouraging!
I am very happy with Ken Bowles report. I wish more people would write about specifically what they saw. I really want to see what they saw. I love spoilers. Can't wait for the movie. I'm glad most people said that it's better than Pronce Caspian.
The Lady of the Green Kirtle or Green Witch appeared in an early draft of the screenplay. Micheal Flaherty of Walden Media assured me that she is now entirely absent from the film. (Thank goodness!)
Well this is all very encouraging. I look forward to the trailer…and December 10th! 😉 Keep the story of Aslan alive!!
On the first note… I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Yay! Go Narnia!!!
When I first read the report of the new footage, my heart was in my mouth. I can't believe how quickly time has passed. It feels like yesterday I was reading about the start of pre-production.
When I saw narniaweb's headline NEW NARNIA FOOTAGE REVEALED, I nearly screamed!
