A Picture of the Narrowhaven Town Set?
A group of school children from Cherbourg State School in Australia entered a short film in the Queensland Young Filmmakers Festival 2009, and apparently won the “Story with Impact” award. Their prize was a visit to the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
They haven’t written a full on set report like some of the previous visitors did (at least, not one that i’ve managed to find just yet) but they did for now include a photo of them at what i presume to be the Narrowhaven Town Square set, based on previous set report descriptions
You can read icarus’ full typed up story in the post linked below.
Thanks icarus for the find!
They are so lucky!!!!!!!!! I would do almost anything (within reason) to be able to go to one of the sets for one of the movies!!!!! Keep the story of Aslan alive!
That's funny! My family, with the help of our cousins and our friends sometimes, make movies with our camcorder! If I had known that there were contests like this, I would have entered a long time ago! 😉
By the way, the set looks cool! It reminds me of Miraz's castle!
Oh My I would loove to do that!!!!!!!!
lucky lucky ppl…..*is jealous*
Must…fight…off…jealousy…
JEALOUS! I WOULD KILL TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT! LUCKY! 😉
AHHH!!!! I SO WISH I WAS THEM!!!! I AM SOOOO JEALOUS!!! 🙁
I AM JEALOUS!! Well I guess we just have to be patient and wait to see the movie..
OMG! i hate them (not really)! they are sooooooo lucky!!! i wish i knew about this contest!
That is awesome! 😀
they look like a soccer team
I wish I went to that school! 🙂 hahaha
That's pretty awesome.
lucky…sigh
TOTALLY JEALOUS. Wow those kids are lucky!!!
*jealousy* oh well, at least we get another pic (mostly blocked by little kids but
no matter) 😛
It does look like Miraz's castle, except it looks way better. I hope they had some colorful flags in it when they were filming, though.
coolness
lucky, lucky children…..I am jealous. From what i can see thought the set looks really great. Not to flimpy but not to dull. Kudos to the set designers.
OMG!!! Mr. Malik was the perfect host. He showed us 'round all the different sets. The sights, sounds and people we met. Can't wait to see how it will all look on the big screen. The Kids travelled for over eight hours that day and on the way home they could not stop talking about the stunts & the Dawn Treader. When I see Drinian behind the wheel of the Dawn Treader, invisibly we will all be there right long side. The detailed carvings on large wheel were absolutely fabulous and most probably will never be seen on screen. This was the best day EVER!!! Thank you Century Fox & Warner Roadshow for your generosity.
