Two Blogs Give Detailed Reports on the Wharf Set and Filming
Even though filming the Narrowhaven Wharf scene is finished, two people have posted extensive blogs about their trips to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader set that we thought you all might be interested in seeing.
The first blog, Under Her Starry Mantle, has pictures of the Wharf set a day or two before they started filming. There are no actors in these pictures, but she did get a few fantastic shots of the set, the props, and perhaps most interestingly, the rowboats used by the Dawn Treader.
You can see all of the pictures at Under Her Starry Mantle’s blog here.
Thanks to icarus and H.M.Swanwhite for the heads-up.
The second report is an update from Movie Mazzupial (who was responsible for those cell phone snaps of Coriakin’s Garden). She boated by the Wharf set the day of filming. The pictures are sadly a bit small and hard to make out, but they’re still very interesting to look at. And if you look very, very closely at eigth picture down, you can barely make out what might be the Dawn Treader crew in uniform.
Movie Mazzupial writes “There were a few dozen men dressed in matching uniforms in the scene and they had to run up and down the set. It looked like a medieval military uniform of some sort and consisted of brown pants, a white shirt and a maroon vest thingy with the emblem of what looked like a yellow lion on it.”
