Dining Hall Being Used for Opening Scene?

THE Southport School boarders’ dining hall was transformed into a movie set during filming for the third instalment of The Chronicles Of Narnia.

Boarders were fed throughout the day and night in a marquee set up on the school’s soccer oval.

The Bulletin understands several areas of the school feature, with the dining hall appearing at the start of the movie.

Since the location is a school and will be appearing at the start of the movie, one might assume it will be used for scenes with the Pevensies and/or Eustace before they are pulled into Narnia. But the possibility exists that they simply need the space to build a completely different set, or perhaps even green screens.
