‘Dawn Treader’ Set Attracting Local Attention

Matt Dunston of Australia’s Nine News did a special report on the set for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader last night. According to the story, the large set at Cleveland Point has been attracting a lot of attention from curious local residents. It is a “spectacular set,” at 43 meters long and almost as high, against a clear, wide horizon. One resident says, “Everyone’s just amazed at the size of it.” The entire set will be dismantled and moved when the filming is over — although apparently, the locals wouldn’t mind if they left some of it behind!

After the filming at Cleveland Point is complete, they will be moving the Dawn Treader set to Southport on the Gold Coast.
