The Mysterious Castle at The Spit
After numerous pictures of contruction on the mysterious castle at The Spit to be used in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, we finally have a front shot of it thanks to GoldCoast.com.au.
Location manager Gareth Price said the wharf or ‘quayside’ structure, built from scaffolding, plaster and other set pieces, was due to be finished for filming in three weeks.
It has taken four weeks to build and will be used for just three days of shooting.
No one seems to know for sure what this castle will be used for. The two most likely scenes would be a shot of Caspian leaving Cair Paravel or Governor Gumpas’ castle on the Lone Islands.
On a completely seperate note, GoldCoast.com.au announced that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will be released on December 9, 2010 in Australia. That’s one day before the US release.
