‘Tales Before Narnia’ Book to Coincide with Prince Caspian Release

January Magazine is reporting that editor Douglas A. Anderson is publishing a new book, Tales Before Narnia: The Roots of Modern Fantasy and Science Fiction, to coincide with the release of Prince Caspian on May 16, 2008. The book includes 21 works that Anderson believes had an influence on C. S. Lewis’ creation of fantasy worlds in his writing. Tales Before Narnia is available now for purchase and includes works by J. R. R. Tolkien, Hans Christian Andersen, Sir Walter Scott and others.
