The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has been voted the best children’s book of all time according to a recent survey conducted by Booktrust, a UK-based organization that encourages children to read. theBookseller.com reports that the survey, which polled 4,000 participants, placed Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar second and Enid Blyton’s Famous Five series third.
