Dawn Treader May Film in Moreton Bay, Australia
From couriermail.com.au:
MORETON Bay may be transformed into the mythical land of Narnia next year after film crews scouted the Redlands for a new movie location.
Producers for the third film in C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, have visited Cleveland and Wellington Point in southeast Queensland.
A report to Redland Shire Council said production company Disney Pictures preferred the Cleveland site over other Queensland and New Zealand locations but warned there would be disruptions for the local community.
Originally it had been reported that Dawn Treader would film in Malta and Iceland, but probably due to filming being pushed back six months, as well as taxes being raised in the Czech Republic, the production has started scouting other locations in the southern hemisphere to film as well.
