Dawn Treader Filming Locations Announced in New Zealand

Directed by Michael Apted, “The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader” is 60-percent sets in New Zealand.
The Bay of Islands, Coromandel, New Plymouth, Hawkes Bay and Gisborne are all featured in the film.

We pulled pictures from Google Earth and the shots of these areas are just gorgeous. Not only that, but it’s easy to imagine the islands of the book being filmed here.
