Tilda Swinton Named New Film Festival Patron

Scotsman.com writes: Hollywood star Tilda Swinton (the White Witch) has joined Sir Sean Connery as patron of this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival. The Fettes-educated actress, who describes Edinburgh as the nearest thing she has to a home, has a long association with the festival. In 2002 the Chronicles of Narnia star delivered a keynote speech at the festival and last year received one of the festival’s Diamond Awards in recognition of her achievements. Read the full story.
