Guillermo del Toro Turned Down ’Narnia’?

According to Yahoo News, director Guillermo del Toro turned down “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” because, as a lapsed Catholic, he couldn’t see himself bringing Aslan the lion back to life. Guillermo del Toro directed films such as Hellboy (2004), Blade II (2002), and Mimic (1997). His upcoming sequel to Hellboy is currently in pre-production. Read the full story here.
