UK Release Date Set For November 20th

Narnia fans in the UK will be able to purchase the extended edition of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe on 20 November 2006. Buena Vista has announced that the Region 2 DVD release will be called the “Royal Edition.” Like its American counterpart, the Royal Edition will be a four-disc set with the same set of new special features on discs three and four. It will have also be available in a limited edition gift pack, which contains a pair of intricate bookends featuring Lucy and Mr. Tumnus. The bookends were designed by the Weta Workshop, who also created many of the stunning visual effects that helped bring Narnia to life.
