Narnia Overtakes Harry Potter in ’05 Box Office

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has topped Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to become the 24th highest-grossing (domestic) film ever released in the US. As of Sunday, March 19th Narnia has made $289,847,008 compared to HP’s $289,710,552.

Narnia also moves into second place for 2005 Domestic Grosses. Star Wars Episode III made $380 million in 2005.
